“All of my understanding of screen technique has come from attending workshops, watching other actors work and learning on the job. This workshop is me sharing techniques, my experiences and little tricks I have learnt along the way especially being a dyslexic actor. …there are some very talented people in our city that just need more resources and a chance.”

Angela Wynter

As a huge bonus for participants, Cherrelle has also invited a special guest: Angela Wynters who is best known for playing Yolande (Patrick Trueman’s wife) in Eastenders. Angela will be sharing her experience of being in the TV industry for over 30 years!

The Introduction to Screen Acting course which is taking place on 22nd August at The Space Birmingham offers a snappy information packed guide for beginners on how to prepare for a TV audition. The room will be prepared as if it were a real audition with a camera and lights to boot! During the course the participants will learn audition techniques, scene study methods, tools for creating an on screen role and much more!
